Natsuki Amakusa , a detective from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division, and Yuya Shiki, a high school student with an eye for spotting murderers, are involved in the murder of a newspaper reporter, Tadafumi Yamada, who was stabbed to death.
